We named the company Julia after the one character in George Orwell’s book 1984 that was able to maintain her personal agency in a world dominated by “Big Brother” surveillance by protecting her privacy.

Ken Griggs is the founder of Julia Social. He has a long history of innovation, starting with many years in speech
recognition research and more recently in developing applications to run on the Chia blockchain while in the role of
Vice President of Customer Success at Chia Network Inc. He left CNI to start Julia Social.
